About Neighbors

Hi again, welcome to Neighbors! I am so glad you’re here. My name is Ali and I call myself an accidental podcaster. Over two years ago, I hosted my first podcast episode for my pastor at our church. From the moment we pressed record, I felt two things happen at the same time. I was terrified. What will I ask? What if I mess up? WHAT IF THERE’S AN AWKWARD SILENCE? And I was totally alive. It awoke something in me I had no idea was there. And over the course of those two years, God planted a seed to start my own little corner of the podcast world. So here we are.

 

Neighbors is about living out the two greatest commandments: to love God and love people. We do that by having conversations with all different people from all different walks of life who are living out their unique calling in the Kingdom. We hope see yourself in these conversations - that you are challenged, inspired, and more aware than ever of God’s great love for you. 

 

When I’m not asking people questions on camera, I am hanging with my bff husband, Wes, and our two girls, Sunny and Coco, and serving as a minister at our local church. I’m a big fan of novels (shout out to my 5 year strong book club), curated dinner parties, oversized t-shirts, seasonal lattes, and anything outside. 

 

I love people. Getting to hear and help tell stories of how God is moving through His people is one of the greatest joys of my life. Because at the end of the day, we all have a part to play and a story to tell. So let's do it together.
